1154 Songs Enter, 70 Songs Leave
Every year some kind soul offers a torrent file containing a song from each of the artists performing at the South by Southwest festival in Austin. For the past four years I’ve undertaken a little project wherein I download these files (usually about 1000 songs) and filter through them. The songs I like are added to my collection and I usually end up buying quite a few of the albums containing them.

“The Changing” – from Page 2
Some more art from “The Changing”. This project is turning out to be rigorous because it’s chock-full of the things that are important to capture but difficult to draw … buildings, horses, costumes, props. Any damn fool can draw a superhero posing but the mundane stuff is where the devil is, and often is the soul of the book.
This one’s about a time-traveling vampire and is drawn by me and written by my friend Matt McKee.
